PhotoSynthesis presents the exhibition 'Forbidden Zone' of Elena Yoncheva and Nikolai Stoikov from the 7th until the 26th of August in a PhotoSynthesis store - Varna. Two Bulgarian journalists - Elena Yoncheva and Nikolai Stoykov travel for 20 days through Israel and Palestinian territories - the West Bank and Gaza, and shoot one of the most tragic moments in recent history of both nations. Photographs were taken in January 2009 in the cities of Jerusalem, and Gaza. Photos are reverberations of the long conflict between Israel and Palestine, in particular the effects of Israelian bombing over Gaza.

Opening will be held from 18:30 to 7.08 pm in PhotoSynthesis store - Varna (24, Tzar Osvoboditel blvd). At 20:00 pm after the opening there will be screening of the documentary film 'Hamas - a restricted area”, where the authors expand their story of these events.
